Today we watched THIS VIDEO then did a Chalk Talk where students walked around the room writing down their ideas of what they wanted our classroom to look like, sound like, and feel like. They also wrote down their hopes for the year. Students, starred, circled, hearted, etc things that they connected with, or agreed with. There were no rules, they just let the ideas and connections flow! We will use these ideas to create our class rules.
