Testing Complete! Our fourth graders did an AMAZING job during VTCAP testing! They were resilient, tried their best, and had a positive outlook! Way to go! | |
Math We are currently working on our Fractions unit. Students are learning about equivalent fractions, mixed numbers, decimal points, and more. | Reader’s Workshop Next week we are starting our Social Issues Unit. We will read a variety of picture books covering a range of social issues. We will learn how to have respectful conversations, consider how diverse our world is, and more. On Thursday afternoon students from the GLOW Group (Camel’s Hump) will be coming in to read us. |
Science This week we did a Science blitz focusing on force and motion. Students created, and studied, rollercoasters and marbles. We had a blast! | Writer’s Workshop Our animal projects are complete, and are gorgeous! We had a writing celebration with Mrs. LeFrancois’ class today. Next week we will start writing personal essays. After we learn about essay writing, students will select a social issues book to write a literary essay about. |
